BEFORE TOOTH REMOVAL

Do not skip Breakfast and Lunch on the day of tooth removal . Have a light meal/snacks /fruit juice just before coming to clinic for tooth removal.

Take all prescribed medicines as advised . Do not skip any medication that you are taking for other medical reasons , unless you are instructed to skip.

Wear comfortable clothing and no makeup. Bring an adult with you to the clinic.

Kindly inform the doctor about any changes in health , even if it is a fever or cold or tiredness.

Avoid Smoking and Alcohol for atleast a week prior to & after surgery .
AFTER TEETH REMOVAL

Keep biting on the cotton placed in your mouth for 45mins - 1 hour . After 1 hour take the cotton out and dispose it safely . While the cotton is in your mouth keep swallowing the saliva . Do not spit the saliva out.

Do not use Tongue , Fingers or any object to try and touch the tooth removed area .

DIET PLAN ( 2-5 days )

You can eat ice cream or drink cold freshly made juice without a straw.

Do not eat or drink anything Spicy.

Do not eat or drink anything Hot . You can eat or drink items that are cold or at room temperature.

Do not eat food that require lot of chewing or that is sticky

Idli , Idiappam , Dosa , Bread , Any Porridge made of Rice or other Cereals.

Dhal Rice , Ghee rice , Curd Rice , Buttermilk Rice , Blenderized foods.

Snacks : Cut & Sliced Fruits , Boiled Vegetables , Milkshakes, Smoothies, Yogurts.

BRUSHING (1 day ) - Do not use toothpaste for 1 day . Instead use the toothbrush dipped in plain water to brush . Do not brush on the tooth removed area .

MEDICINES ( 3 - 5 days ) - Take all given medicines as advised . Do not skip any medicines.

Do not gargle or spit forcefully. Gently rinse with plain water after eating or drinking . Keep the teeth removed area clean for good & pain free healing.
